Uscirà negli USA il prossimo ottobre, il film CBGB – The Movie, pellicola che racconta le vicende che portarono il newyorkese CBGB, Country, BlueGrass and Blues, da locale anonimo di Manhattan a culla del punk e della new wave. Scritto e diretto da Randall Miller, il film ripercorre le carriere di Talking Heads, Ramones, Television, Patti Smith, Iggy Pop (interpretato da un insospettabile quanto azzeccatissimo Taylor Hawkins), ecc.
Non si sa ancora quando la pellicola verrà proiettata in Italia, ma nel frattempo, godetevi trailer e soundtrack:
